Automobile photography is my favorite type of photography. One can create action shots, macro shots, and landscape shots all with a single subject. That being said, automobile photography does require one thing, a car. Unfortunately, since I do not have access to a car right now, I’m stuck with taking photos of cars that are on the street. It is enjoyable, but you really do not have that much control over the shot. With the release of Forza Horizon 2, however, I can now take realistic looking photos, with a plethora of cars to choose from, in a very dynamic European landscape. So without further a do, I present to you, Forzatography. Each Forzatography post will have a central theme relating to the photos.
This week’s theme is “German Muscle”.
German cars are the most engineered cars on the planet. BMW, Volkswagen (Audi), and Mercedes-Benz are the main players in the German car industry, controlling brands outside of Germany as well (like Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, and Bentley). Sure, they might not be reliable as Japanese cars, or pretty as Italian cars, or passionate as American cars; but German cars are what lead to innovation in the car industry. It was Audi that gave us AWD, BMW who gave us the turbo, and Mercedes who gave us airbags. Cars would not be where they’re today without the Germans.
