Lofty Review: 2005 Volkswagen Jetta

Well folks, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for…or maybe not.

Anyways, allow me to explain what my fellow writers and I have concocted after one of our summer meetings. Since auto manufactures are a little hesitant in handing the keys to one of their new (expensive) cars to a trio of young dudes, with arguably better driving records than most auto reviewers…we decided to take matters into our own hands.

I present to you, the lofty viewer, the first ever Lofty Review.

The 2005 Volkswagen Jetta is the perfect car for a driver who is just starting out…as well as a person who is just a little overprotective about their golf clubs. The VW is cheap, with prices ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. It’s economical, being able to hold a set of clubs (and then some) as well as being able to average around 30mpg. Finally, there is just enough power to get you moving, and that’s it really, but don’t think of that as a bad thing. This lack of power gives you the perfect excuse to rev out the 2.5l 5-cylinder nestled beneath the “Deep Black” body. This means that you will always have the peppy and uplifting hymn being routed through your ear canal.

In all honesty, I love Jettas and this one is no exception. They are cheap, fun cars, which is awesome.
